Kal Walkden is a CTO and product and engineering executive focused on improving

business performance. His work spans both growth and stabilization environments,

Over the last 25+ years, Kal has led product and engineering organizations across
startups, growth-stage companies, and enterprise environments including HelloFresh
(Factor), Double Good, ForeverCar, IBM, Philips Electronics, and TransUnion. His
experience includes stabilizing revenue-critical platforms, enabling hypergrowth,
improving development velocity and release throughput, modernizing legacy systems,
and building product and engineering capabilities from zero revenue through
acquisition outcomes.
Through W27 Collective, Kal works with companies in fractional CTO and advisory
capacities, helping leadership teams align architecture, product direction,
organizational structure, and execution strategy. His consulting work includes
